The Pinnacle of Healthcare
Lobar Construction Management was privileged to manage and help design the renovation of PinnacleHealth’s Fredricksen MRI Suite. Successful Master Planning
Lobar Construction Management, partnered with Granary Associates, was tasked with the challenge to design and build an MRI fit-out while maintaining 24/7 operation of the facility. All existing conditions were taken into account before construction commenced. In this case, the existing utilities played a factor so a custom water management system was constructed over the entire magnet area to protect against potential leaks. Demolition and other “noisy” work were performed during the over-night hours. Also, the transportation and installation of the 12,000 lb. magnet required a precisely coordinated effort by owner, architect and Lobar CM. In the end, Lobar CM’s master planning successfully met every challenge and the project was completed within budget and schedule and to the owner’s total satisfaction.
“The Lobar Construction Management’s Design/Build Team delivered our new MRI Suite on time, within the original budget, and even with a few owner-generated adds. The involvement of the Lobar Team, from top management...to the on-site Superintendent… to the laborers, without question, significantly enhanced the quality, value, and outcome of our new MRI project. This was not the first project that we contracted with Lobar, nor will it be the last. Again, thanks to all for a job well done.”
